TALENT ACQUISITION SPECIALIST – MISSISSAUGA Are you passionate about Safety & Security and seeking the chance to build the next generation of safety and security professionals? Incorporated has provided security and customer service solutions for over 20 years to Canadian clients. P provides services to a wide range of clients with a significant presence in the Commercial and Residential spaces in Ontario as well as some of the largest airports in Canada.
Based at our office in Mississauga, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will be providing professional and welcoming candidate experience, while finding creative ways to source candidates from a variety of areas.
The Talent Acquisition
Specialist will assist the Onboarding and Training teams with providing a smooth onboarding process to all employees, and will be reporting directly to the Associate Director, Talent Acquisition and Resourcing Planning.
Recruitment
Sourcing and Selection (60%) Managing the full recruiting lifecycle across a variety of open roles helping management find, hire, and retain quality talent. Maintaining a database of candidate records, including active and passive prospects, hired and fired employees, and other candidate relationships.
Community
Outreach (20%) Maintaining contact with numerous community partners to create pipeline of candidates. Organizing and attending job fairs and community outreach events for branding and sourcing purposes. Creating and distributing marketing materials throughout local community for increased visibility.
Conducting monthly outreach initiatives. E-Recruiting and Social Media Content Creation (10%)
Developing and releasing job postings on platforms, such as social media and job boards. Monitoring social media platforms and keeping up to date with market trends.
Occasionally assist Training and Human Resources teams with new hire documents and training schedules. Following up on interview process status and update records in an internal database. Collecting weekly and monthly KPIs and conducting analysis.
You know how to make connections with clients, candidates, and community partners. You enjoy working in the community. You have a passion for outreach and a commitment to equity in hiring. 1 year of progressive staffing/sales/recruitment experience preferred. ~1 – 2 years of service-based customer service experience strongly preferred. ~ Frontline hiring for security or customer service an asset. ~ ATS experience an asset. ~ Managing an applicant tracking system (ATS) and experience with the Transport Canada Clearance process an asset. ~ Advanced knowledge and experience in MS Office especially MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. ~ We care about our team and their personal and professional success.
