Department: Facility Services - Halifax Effective: ASAP Responsible To: Manager, Facility Services High school diploma Three years of relevant work experience Previous experience with operating pallet jacks is considered an asset Capable of working with minimal supervision Customer and Personal Services, Computer Proficiency (Microsoft Office and Databases System) Maintain regular and consistent attendance within the corporate standard. Processes stores requisitions (fills order,



tracks and records notes in database, delivers goods) Prepares purchase orders for replenishment of stock; places orders with vendors via phone, fax, or internet enters received goods into database system Ensures goods are put away in proper space/shelf/room in Central Stores and Food Services Works closely with the Manager in controlling adequate inventory levels, re-order points, minimum stock levels, etc. Ships supplies to external sites/organizations Matches vendor invoices with receiving reports and packing slips, forwards to manager for payment approval Coordinates with Accounts Payable to ensure accuracy of stock item prices, and price increases Participates in quarterly inventory counts Rotates inventory as recent stock is received Maintains stock item information in software system Internal applications must be submitted online through the Staff Resource Hub.
