We are seeking a Commodity Buyer to support procurement operations for our mills across Western Canada. This role is responsible for sourcing agricultural commodities and building strong vendor relationships while navigating grain markets and supply dynamics.

Procure commodities for mill operations across Western Canada Source and purchase agricultural products, including grains and agri-based commodities directly from farms Procure animal by-products, including fats, oils, and meat & bone meal Monitor and engage with the grain futures market to support purchasing decisions and risk management Ensure timely, cost-effective procurement aligned with business needs 3 to 4+ years of experience working as Buyer in agricultural commodity and experience in commodity- grain buying with farms ~ Experience in agri-business procurement, specifically grain buying ~ Proven experience working with farms and agricultural suppliers ~ Knowledge of animal by-products procurement (fats, oils, meat & bone meal) is an asset ~ Experience working with ERP systems (SAP preferred),
