Employee Assistance Program Support clients with community involvement and independence to optimize the individual’s quality of life Menu planning and/or preparation Support clients with varied level of personal care (e.g. hand-over-hand, full support, etc.) Assisting with household activities and chores Experience/knowledge of working with adult clients with intellectual and mental disabilities. Required to have a transparent Criminal Record Check with the Vulnerable Sector, Adult Abuse and Child Abuse Registry valid in the last 6 months.

Minimum Grade

Twelve education, preferably post-secondary, Developmental Service Worker Certificate, Health Care Aide certification or a combination of related education/experience. Ability to work effectively within a team environment, sound decision making abilities and the capacity to work with minimal supervision. We use technology and automation to support administrative aspects of our recruitment process.
