Make a meaningful impact as a Frontline Support Worker at KWS in West Kelowna. Provide essential support and advocacy for individuals escaping domestic abuse while ensuring their safety and comfort. At KWS, we have served individuals affected by domestic abuse since 1980.

As a Frontline Support Worker, you will engage with program participants, offering crisis intervention, information, and temporary housing at the Transition House. Your experience in human services will be vital as you create safety plans, provide active listening, and connect individuals with community resources. Key Responsibilities:

- Answer crisis calls and assist individuals seeking support
- Admit and discharge program participants while assessing risk




- Develop action plans to support participants’ goals
- Ensure safety and security of the facility for families
- Facilitate conflict resolution among program participants Requirements:
- Diploma in social/human services or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of domestic abuse and community resources
- Ability to offer empathetic, non-judgmental support
- Capacity to work independently and collaboratively
- Suitable Criminal Records Check required Support individuals in crisis while enhancing your career in a mission-driven workplace with KWS.
