Elevate safety engineering standards at GeoSpectrum as a System Safety Engineer. Focus on product compliance and risk assessment within hardware and software environments for advanced systems. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate safety risks.
You will ensure compliance with industry standards, especially MIL-STD-882E, while supporting safety-critical systems in the defense, marine, and aerospace sectors. Robust knowledge of safety-driven design and system safety processes is essential. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop System Safety Program Plans and Hazard Analyses
- Serve as Program Safety Manager for key initiatives
- Present safety assessments during design and testing phases
- Ensure documentation meets contractual and customer standards
- Lead system safety working groups and promote best practices Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Safety, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of system safety engineering experience
- Proficient in hazard analysis and risk mitigation
- Experience with Fault Tree Analysis and other safety tools
