Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook a variety of traditional tandoori dishes with precision and flair, ensuring authentic flavors and presentation.
- Maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.
- Manage food handling procedures in compliance with health regulations to ensure safe service for guests.
- Oversee the training and mentoring of kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment focused on continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with restaurant management to ensure timely delivery of dishes during busy service hours.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area,



including tandoor ovens and related equipment.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or food industry setting, specifically with tandoori or Indian cuisine preferred.
- Supervising experience in a busy kitchen environment, demonstrating strong leadership skills.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques essential for maintaining hygiene compliance.
- Experience in restaurant management or team management is highly desirable.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
