Being a teacher means playing an essential role at the heart of student success. It involves planning, guiding, and adapting learning to meet diverse needs while creating a human, safe, and conducive learning workplace for everyone's progress. On a daily basis, you observe, support, and encourage, transforming challenges into learning opportunities.
In collaboration with a dedicated school team, you will help students overcome their difficulties, develop their full potential, and regain confidence in their abilities. Assess the learning needs of students with academic difficulties (reading, writing, mathematics, etc.)
- Adapt content, materials, and assessments according to students' needs
- Collaborate with the school team (teachers, speech therapists, psychoeducators, administration, etc.)
- Participate in the development, implementation, and monitoring of intervention plans (IP)
- Advise and support teachers in pedagogical differentiation and intervention strategies
- Ensure regular monitoring of students' progress and adjust interventions accordingly
- Strong interest in the clientele (mild intellectual disability, giftedness, learning support, language and communication, students with adaptation difficulties and psychopathology)
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic school environment
- Very good knowledge of spoken and written French.
