CLK 09R - Team Assistant On-Site Regular Full Time Temporary End Date Ministry/Organization BC Public Service - Children & Family Development Ministry Branch / Division Service Delivery Division The South Peace Administrative Team is a collaborative group of five professionals including one Office Manager and four Team Assistants, who work closely together. We support the public and the work of internal MCFD teams, playing a vital and impactful role in ensuring the office runs smoothly and that vulnerable children, youth, and families are welcomed and connected to the right services. Under the direction of the Office Manager, the Team Assistant provides essential administrative support to all service lines within the Ministry of Children and Family Development, including Child Protection and Family Services, Child and Youth Mental Health, Children and Youth with Support Needs, Youth Transitions, Permanency and Guardianship.
This role acts as a key front-line contact, helping youth and families access the right programs and services in a timely and welcoming manner.
Secondary
School graduation (Dogwood, GED) and 6 months related experience; Six months experience working in a computerized setting using various computer applications and data bases. (Microsoft Office applications including Word Excel, Outlook) for word processing, spread sheeting, data entry, email and video teleconferencing; and case management or other database applications.
Experience providing quality customer or client service,
carrying out duties and responding to client needs in a professional manner. Administrative experience working with vulnerable children and families in a human/social services setting.
Integrated Case
Management (ICM) and/or Management Information Systems (MIS) computer applications. Consideration may be given for completion of an Administrative Business Skills course or program as experience equivalency. This is a temporary opportunity until March 1, 2027.This position may be extended or become permanent.
This position has full time on-site requirements. An eligibility list may be established to fill future temporary and permanent vacancies. A Criminal Record Check (CRC) and Criminal Record Review Act Check (CRRA) will be required.
