Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and friendly Team Crew Member to join our dynamic Dairy Queen restaurant team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, assisting with food preparation, and ensuring a clean and safe dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, strong communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.

Prior restaurant or food service experience is preferred but not required; we welcome enthusiastic individuals eager to learn and grow within our team.

Duties

- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and standards
- Operate POS systems for order processing and cash handling
- Greet customers, take orders, and serve food in a courteous manner
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy hours
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment
- Assist with food safety procedures and proper food handling practices
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales




- Handle cash transactions accurately and provide correct change
- Support team members in various restaurant operations as needed
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests

Skills

- Experience in food preparation, food service, or restaurant operations preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems for effective order processing.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation procedures
- Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Kitchen experience or food industry background is advantageous
- Effective communication skills for teamwork and customer interactions
- Upselling techniques to promote menu items and enhance sales performance

Pay: From $16.35 per hour
