Position Overview

We're looking for a Team Lead to anchor our weekday team. You'll be the steady hand on the floor: taking in our dry cleaning, backing up our Laundry Liaisons (front-line staff) on service and production, and being the go-to person when a customer or a teammate needs a decision. You'll work closely with our Operations Manager and another Team Lead to keep the store sharp, the team trained, and the day running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

- Own dry cleaning intake, detailing, and quality control so our Liaisons can focus on laundry, cleaning, and customers.
- Be the second person on shift for both customer service, and laundry production.
- Handle everyday customer issues calmly and fairly, and know when to escalate.
- Keep our Liaisons sharp by running refreshers and coaching in the moment.




- Support the Operations Manager and fellow Team Lead(s) with admin and maintenance tasks that keep the store running.
- Step in to cover shifts when a teammate calls out, including opening or closing the store.

Qualifications

- 1 year of experience as a shift lead, supervisor, key-holder, or similar in retail, hospitality, or customer service.
- Calm and confident with customers, including the unhappy ones.
- Comfortable coaching peers and giving honest, kind feedback.
- Detail-oriented. You catch the stain, the missing button, the wrong tag.
- Comfortable with tablets, POS systems, and cloud-based apps.
- Able to lift laundry bags up to about 50 lbs and be on your feet for a full shift.
- Reliable Monday to Thursday daytime availability, with some flexibility for extra shifts.
- Ability to speak French, or additional languages is an asset.
