The opportunity:

Reporting to the Senior Investment Advisors, the Team Manager is responsible for leading and developing the support team, ensuring work is delivered accurately, efficiently, and in alignment with business objectives. This role oversees team performance, supports compliance and operational excellence, conducts research for the advisory team, and contributes to strategic initiatives and projects as assigned by the Lead Advisors.

Key responsibilities include:

- People Leadership & Team Management
- Provide leadership, coaching, and ongoing support to Associates by setting explicit expectations, managing performance, and fostering a collaborative, high-performing team environment.
- Manage team capacity, workflow distribution, and resource planning to ensure operational efficiency and the effective delivery of client service.
- Partner with Advisors and firm leadership to implement people strategies, organizational changes,



and process improvements that support business goals.
- Conduct quality reviews and audits of administrative work, client files, and client profiles to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Support the implementation of strategic people initiatives and operational improvements as directed by the Lead Advisors.

- Compliance & Research

- Ensure team adherence to regulatory requirements, firm policies, and compliance standards.
- Oversee quality control reviews of client files and operational processes to maintain accuracy and mitigate risk.
- Communicate regulatory and policy updates and ensure consistent team adoption.

- Business Operations & Strategic Support

- Provide operational leadership to support efficient business operations and client service delivery.
- Identify and implement process improvements that enhance team effectiveness and client experience.
- Lead or support strategic projects and business initiatives to drive operational excellence and growth.
- Act as a key liaison between Advisors, Associates, Compliance, and leadership team.

The ideal candidate will possess:

- A degree or diploma in business administration, accounting, finance or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Post-secondary education in business, finance, or any related discipline.
- 2+ years’ financial services industry experience working in a high growth environment.
- 2+ years’ experience in a customer/client-service facing role.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- 5-8 years’ financial services industry experience working in a high growth environment.
- 3+ years’ experience in a customer/client-service facing role.
- 3+ years in a team leadership/management facing role
- Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Experience in the wealth management or other regulated industry is a strong asset.




- CIRO registration as an Investment Representative (IR) or Registered Representative (RR) is an asset.
- Experience supporting an investment advisory practice and knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements are also considered strong assets.
- Proficiency with the MSOffice suite, including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Teams, and Outlook.
- Demonstrates accountability, reliability, professionalism, and sound judgment, with a strong commitment to ethical conduct, confidentiality, and client service excellence.
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and motivate teams while fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing work environment.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and collaborate across multiple channels.
- Highly organized with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, enabling effective prioritization, decision-making, and management of competing priorities.
- Adaptable and resilient in a fast-paced environment, with a willingness to embrace change, leverage new technologies, and drive continuous improvement.
- Service-oriented mindset focused on delivering exceptional client and team experiences while identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
