They are seeking a Journeyperson HVAC Tech that will be responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance, inspections, modifications, installation, and dismantling of systems. Work may also include projects within the trade to install, maintain, repair and overhaul central air conditioning systems, commercial and industrial refrigeration systems and combined heating, ventilation and cooling systems.

Completes timely inspections, testing and accurate reporting of equipment defects/deficiencies. Performs preventive & corrective maintenance service on HVAC and Refrigeration systems and fixtures. Performs preventive and corrective maintenance on all kitchen appliances and equipment.

Assists with the scoping, estimating, planning and execution of current work or projects. Ensures all installations, repairs and maintenance meet the requirements of the appropriate codes. Ensure all installations, repairs and maintenance meet environmental protection requirements.

Journeyman

Certified HVAC Refrigeration Mechanic (Red Seal)



with a minimum of five years’ experience Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Software) is considered an asset. The ability to work in a team environment is crucial along with a strong commitment to personal and team safety. Highly experienced customer/client/user management in a 24/7 operation with a strong customer focus.

Ability to work safely with a wide variety of hand and power tools as well as varying materials. Basic PC skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) Class 5 licence with a clean drivers abstract required.
