Our client is a communications company. They are looking for a Manager of Finance - Controllers to join their team! Provide guidance on new transactions, projects, processes and accounting standards while maintaining robust governance and controls Review, analyze and summarize accounting for contracts, policies and complex transactions Drive transformation of financial close activities through process optimization, centralization, automation, and the adoption of emerging technologies, including AI-enabled solutions.

Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes, systems, data quality, and reporting capabilities, partnering with cross-functional teams to implement solutions. Lead and support strategic projects and organizational transformation initiatives. Manage and develop teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and high performance.





Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Commerce, or a related field. CPA designation or equivalent finance experience is considered an asset. Minimum 5+ years of progressive experience in similar accounting role.

Strong knowledge and practical experience applying IFRS accounting standards, including expert-level knowledge of IFRS 15 (Revenue) and IFRS 16 (Leases). Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Experience with automation, AI, machine learning, or data analytics tools is an asset. Support a culture of innovation - a personal interest in upskilling in latest digital and technology trends
