Empower individuals at Lookout Housing and Health Society as a Tenant Support Worker. This casual role includes supporting residents in achieving independence and stability through education and assistance. As a Tenant Support Worker, you will report directly to the Site Manager and follow Lookout’s mission and Code of Ethics.
Your key responsibilities include conducting tenant intakes, developing service plans, and providing crisis intervention. You will work closely with tenants to meet their basic needs while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in tenant intakes and assessments
- Develop service plans and provide crisis intervention
- Maintain ongoing support to meet tenants’ basic needs
- Complete required documentation and data maintenance
- Assist onsite volunteers and practicum students Requirements:
- Diploma in Community Social Service
- 2 years related experience or comparable qualifications
- Valid Class 5 BC Drivers’ License if required
- Criminal Record Clearance – Vulnerable Sector
- OFA 1 First Aid Certificate Utilize your skills in advocacy and crisis intervention to support disadvantaged adults effectively at Lookout Housing.
