Goodwill Staffing & Recruitment is a Healthcare staffing agency dedicated to meeting the workforce needs of hospitals, nursing homes, and retirement homes across Canada. The organization is seeking experienced healthcare professionals for travel nursing contract opportunities across Newfoundland & Labrador (NL). This is an opportunity to work in a beautiful Canadian province while gaining valuable experience across different healthcare environments and communities.

We are currently accepting applications from Nurse Practitioners (NPs), Registered Nurses (RNs), and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs)/Registered Practical Nurses (RPNs) with relevant Canadian clinical experience.

TRAVEL NURSING RESPONSIBILITIES

Depending on specialty and assignment, successful candidates will be responsible for:

- Providing protected, evidence-based, patient-centered nursing care.
- Performing comprehensive patient assessments and monitoring changes in patient condition.
- Developing, implementing, and evaluating individualized patient care plans.
- Administering medications and treatments in accordance with professional standards and facility policies.
- Collaborating with physicians, nurses, allied health professionals, and other members of the healthcare team.
- Responding appropriately to changes in patient condition and clinical emergencies.
- Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Following infection prevention, safety, and quality standards.
- Supporting patient and family education.
- Adapting quickly to new clinical environments, teams, policies, and workflows.
- Performing other clinical duties appropriate to the candidate’s specialty and scope of practice.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

- Minimum 2 years of Canadian nursing experience.




- Active nursing license in Newfoundland & Labrador OR approval to proceed with payment.
- EPIC training is required.
- Current Home License registration in good standing.
- Relevant experience in the specialty being applied for.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Strong communication, clinical judgment, and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work required shifts, including weekends and holidays where applicable.
- Must be willing to work as a Goodwill Staffing agency employee (Note that Independent contractors will not be considered for this province)

COMPENSATION

- Nurse Practitioner (NP): $130/hour
- Registered Nurse (RN): $77–$90/hour, depending on specialty
- LPN/RPN: $53/hour

TRAVEL BENEFITS

- $75 daily per diem.
- Two-way flight expenses covered.
- License reimbursement after completion of a 12-week contract.
