K&K; Insurance Canada Is Looking For an Underwriting Assistant The position supports a team that is driven everyday to think bigger and do better for our customers, and achieve desired results. Reporting directly into the Underwriting Director, this technical position is a key part of the K&K; team. Service a book of business under supervision of the Underwriter and Underwriting Director Log applications, process commercial insurance policies, endorsements, renewals.
Assist with preparation of accounting spreadsheets, account reconciliation & broker invoicing. 2 years of Commercial and/or Specialty Insurance experience is required ~ Must be technologically savvy and data-driven, including proficiency in Excel ~ CIP courses or designation an asset but not required to begin role ~ Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development including insurance courses and certifications. ~ Must have strong computer skills and be proficient with the Microsoft Office Package. This role will requires no travel. The salary range for this position is CAD $45,000 - $55,000.
