Engineering We’re recruiting on behalf of a leading global rail transportation company for a Junior Test Validation Engineer. This is a hybrid role, 12-month contract. In this role you will support the preparation of test plans, procedures, and reports to validate system and software requirements for rail signaling systems.

You’ll perform integration and testing activities both in-plant and at project sites, helping mitigate key commissioning risks for major transit projects. Analyze system, subsystem,



and software requirements to define validation methods and test cases Perform integration and test activities in-house and at project sites Prepare test procedures in line with ITV test plans Conduct commissioning tests in-plant and on-site Develop test automation scripts Prepare test reports documenting pass/fail results and identified issues Investigate test anomalies through data analysis and design documentation review Support traceability analysis and design reviews BASc in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or equivalent ~1-2 years of experience testing embedded real-time systems (or equivalent hardware/software testing experience) ~ Experience with real-time, mission-critical system testing ~ Knowledge of railway signaling techniques ~ Robust technical writing skills ~ Fluent English Familiarity with SelTrac or similar rail control products Understanding of how Test/V&V; teams interact with other engineering departments #
