An established veterinary clinic in west-end Toronto is looking for an animal-loving Veterinary/Kennel Assistant to join their team.

The position involves animal care and handling, and stocking and cleaning duties. The Kennel Assistant roll requires 4 evening shifts each week (4pm to 8:30pm, Tuesdays through Friday).

Responsibilities include

- assisting with appointments
- restraint for blood draws and urine sampling
- assisting with radiographs
- general hospital cleaning and stocking
- patient care of hospitalized and boarding pets

Previous experience in the veterinary field is a must. Animal Care or Veterinary Assistant certificate is preferred. Experience with Avimark is an asset, as is Turkish language skills. Compensation is based on experience and skill level. Job Types: Part time, Permanent

Pay: $18.50-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18.0 – 22.0 per week
