Duties
- Provide strategic oversight by participating in board meetings, setting organizational goals, and reviewing progress reports.
- Engage in active business development efforts to expand the organization’s reach, partnerships, and funding opportunities.
- Lead negotiations with stakeholders, partners, and vendors to secure beneficial agreements aligned with organizational values.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives by analyzing current workflows and recommending efficiencies to enhance operational effectiveness.
- Support fundraising activities through outreach, event participation, and donor engagement to ensure financial sustainability.
- Oversee organizational compliance with legal requirements and best practices in governance.
- Champion the organization’s mission by advocating within the community and representing the organization at public events.
Requirements
- Demonstrated leadership experience in nonprofit, business, or community organizations.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build consensus among diverse stakeholders.
- Proven ability in process improvement and project management to drive organizational initiatives forward efficiently.
- Business development acumen with experience in cultivating partnerships and expanding organizational impact.
- Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—to effectively articulate the organization’s vision and goals.

- Ability to attend regular board meetings and participate actively in committee work.
