Position Description

The Warehouse Attendant helps keep the yard, warehouse, and repair shop areas clean, organized, and running smoothly. This role focuses on basic, routine tasks and works as part of a supportive team. This position reports to the Customer Service Warehouse Supervisor and completes tasks assigned by the warehouse lead.

Reporting to: Customer Service Warehouse Supervisor

Duties and Responsibilities

- Keeps the yard, warehouse, and repair shop areas clean and tidy.
- Organizes supplies, packaging, and storage materials.
- Monitors the equipment and inventory levels and notify the supervisor of any shortages
- Ensure that all equipment is properly labeled and within company standards




- Safe and courteous operation of NorthStar Equipment Rentals vehicles and equipment at all times
- Supports the warehouse staff or equipment technicians with basic, assigned tasks.
- Assists the Washbay Attendant with tasks as required

- Performs other basic, job‑related tasks as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications

- No previous experience required
- Possess a High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Must have a clean and valid class 5 Alberta driver’s license
- A highly motivated individual with strong communication skills, capable of working independently and efficiently in a fast‑paced workplace
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs
- Must be able to work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to follow clear, step‑by‑step instructions
- Ability to perform light physical tasks such as walking, standing, and light lifting
- Willingness to learn and work as part of a team
- Support and guidance will be provided as needed
