S&S; Activewear is seeking an inventory control specialist to perform counts and recounts, verify inventories and reports discrepancies.

The Inventory Control

Associate will be responsible for maintaining the physical order and accuracy of company inventory. Starting pay is $19.57 per hour CAD. Monday - Friday (8am - 4:30pm), full-time, non-Exempt Perform Daily Cycle Counting of inventory Verify bulk inventory for accuracy.

Resolve inventory discrepancies through research and physical counts. Propose corrections to on hand inventory after performing physical inspections Operate barcode scanner and use warehouse software. Prepare customer orders accurately and timely to meet daily production goals Follow and commit to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) for safety, quality, production, efficiency, and service requirements Operates machinery including forklift, reach truck, pallet jack, and stock chaser.





Performs inventory counts and reconciles any discrepancies Train in Will Call and other customer service duties as required Maintain organization and cleanliness of Distribution Center Assists with other warehouse or branch duties as needed Must be willing to cross train High school diploma or equivalent preferred Ability to read and speak English. Must have reliable transportation. Desire to work in a fast-paced, organized, and positive warehouse environment.

Ability to operate a warehouse equipment and machinery. Must be versatile with start and departure time changing. Ability to work overtime when needed. Ability to work independently without close supervision.In performing this job, the employee must stand and walk for an 8+ hour shift.

The job will be performed entirely in the warehouse where conditions can range from warm to cool. The job will be performed around warehouse machines and equipment with a moderate level of noise. Employee must be able to work in a high-volume, high-demand environment while meeting strenuous customer deadlines.
