The Seasonal Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating basic powered material handling equipment--excluding Order Picker, Turret, and Drexel--for the receipt, storage, and fulfillment of product. This role ensures product safety, quality, legality, and integrity while supporting efficient warehouse operations. Perform full-case order picking for replenishment, customer orders, and packaging components.
Retrieve and put away pallets in narrow aisle bulk rack storage systems. Conduct quality control checks to ensure transaction accuracy. Load and unload pallets and cases from trucks and conveyor lines using equipment or manual handling.
Sort and build product pallets to meet customer specifications. Maintain accurate storage locations through daily cycle counts and inventory tasks. Perform other distribution functions as needed based on business volume and operational needs.
High school diploma or equivalent required. Ability to operate basic powered material handling equipment (e.g., electric pallet jack, forklift). High attention to detail and commitment to quality. Customer service oriented and strong team player.
Requirements, Perks, and Perks (CA -- Salaried & CA -- Hourly) If the incumbent resides in the province of Quebec, Functional French (written and spoken) is required. Ability to follow policies and procedures. Ability to sit, walk, or stand for the duration of the shift.
