Laboratory Assistant Permanent, Full Time The Laboratory Assistant supports daily laboratory operations by assisting with laboratory maintenance, sample preparation, routine testing, environmental monitoring, equipment maintenance, and record keeping. Working under established SOPs, the role helps ensure accurate documentation, adequate laboratory supplies, and compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards while providing technical and administrative support to laboratory staff. Cleaning, sterilize and maintaining the laboratory and its equipment Preparing reagents, solutions, and other laboratory material Preparing shipments to subcontractors Data entry Inventory management Laboratory Support Assist laboratory staff in conducting analytical testing, including recording observations and data accurately As proficiency and training is completed, begin independently conducting more complex testing (Method Suitability, Sterility Testing, Microbial Identification) Environmental Monitoring Record, report and investigate unexpected test results Preparing documentation (workorders, worksheets, Lab Reports) Complies with company policies and all applicable SOPs; complies with ISO 17025, ISO 9001, ICH guidelines, Health Canada requirements and Quality Control Guidelines Assists in back up support of all laboratory workstations as required Maintains clean, orderly,



and protected laboratory work area and follows all laboratory health and safety policies Experience in housekeeping, sanitation, and environmental maintenance Basic computer proficiency and data entry skills Experience in a microbiology and/or chemistry laboratories a plus Physical dexterity to perform testing accurately and precisely Ability to read, understand and comply with Company policies and SOPs, including safety rules and regulations Intermediate level computer skills in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint High school diploma or equivalent required.

Should be able to carry laboratory equipment, reagents and samples Fine motor skills and manual dexterity for tasks such as pipetting, handling small samples, and operating laboratory equipment Should be comfortable wearing appropriate PPE, such as lab coats, gloves, safety glasses, and respirators when necessary Proper handling of chemicals and adherence to safety protocols Working with biohazardous materials and hazardous chemicals Pre-Screen Video Interview - Qualified candidates will be invited within one week to complete a short one-way video pre-screen.
