Position: Web Designer & Developer

We are looking for a Web Designer & Developer who can design, develop, maintain, and improve websites for MAIZON and our clients.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining creative design, user experience, and web development. You will work closely with our marketing and project teams to create websites that are visually engaging, functional, responsive, and aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop responsive websites for clients and internal projects
- Create website layouts, landing pages, and digital experiences
- Maintain and update existing websites and web content
- Ensure websites are optimized for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices
- Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to translate campaign concepts into web experiences
- Improve website usability, navigation, performance, and overall user experience
- Implement SEO-friendly website structures and best practices
- Integrate forms, analytics, tracking tools, and third-party platforms when required
- Troubleshoot website issues and resolve technical problems
- Monitor website performance and recommend improvements
- Assist with domain, hosting, CMS, and website maintenance tasks




- Support website projects from initial concept through launch

Design Responsibilities
- Develop modern, user-friendly, and visually engaging website designs
- Create wireframes, page structures, and visual layouts
- Prepare web graphics, banners, and other digital assets when required
- Work with existing brand guidelines and develop visual solutions for different clients

Development Responsibilities
- Build and customize websites using appropriate web technologies and CMS platforms
- Implement responsive layouts and ensure cross-browser compatibility
- Optimize website speed, performance, and accessibility
- Connect websites with marketing, analytics, CRM, booking, and other third-party tools
- Perform regular website updates, maintenance, backups, and troubleshooting
- Test websites before launch and ensure functionality across different devices and browsers

General Requirements
- Must hold a valid work permit or visa allowing legal employment
- Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Solid communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
- Relevant web design and development experience preferred
- Experience working on client projects is an asset

Technical Skills (Preferred)
- HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- WordPress or other CMS platforms
- Responsive web design
- UI/UX design principles
- Figma, Adobe Photoshop,



Illustrator, or similar design tools
- Website builders such as Elementor or similar platforms
- Domain, hosting, DNS, and basic website management
- Experience with APIs and third-party integrations is an asset
- Basic knowledge of PHP or other programming languages is an asset

Employment Conditions

Salary: To be determined through consultation

Employment Type: Full-time (3-month probation period)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday (standard business hours)
