Job Number: 56132The Edmonton Police Service (EPS) is seeking a Floor Supervisor to provide leadership to the employees of the Police Seized Vehicle Section (PSVS). Supervise and maintain training for staff.Ensure all administrative functions related to the release, sale, or disposal of seized vehicles are completed.Ensure the PSVS provides a high level of service to the public.In conjunction with EPS Finance Section, enforce existing cash handling policies.Compile and record daily and monthly sales totals and conduct follow-up as required.Provide support dealing with difficult customers.Maintain and update computer databases.Qualifications:Completion of the twelfth (12th) school grade, including business subjects with emphasis on general office practices, or completion of an appropriate certificate program from an approved business school/college and a minimum of three (3) year's progressively responsible and diversified office experience including demonstrated supervisory capability OR Completion of the twelfth (12th) school grade including business subjects with emphasis on subjects related to the area of specialization or completion of an appropriate certificate program from an approved business school/college, and a minimum of three (3)



year's progressively responsible experience in the area of specialization.Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.Working knowledge of the statute law as it applies to the GOA Abandoned Vehicle Disposal Program would be considered an asset.Hours of work for this position are 10:00-18:00hrs Monday-Friday with possible weekends.
