Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Senior Payroll Analyst on a temporary basis within our People & Culture team (term up to 12 months, may be extended or lead to permanent). Are you a problem-solving payroll expert? The successful candidate in this role will provide functional guidance and subject matter expertise for payroll activities across the Co-operative Retailing System (CRS).
This is an excellent opportunity to work cross-functionally with various teams and flex your expertise in payroll administration within a collaborative, fast paced environment supporting thousands of employees. Lead Oracle payroll user acceptance testing, validating system changes and ensuring payroll readiness.
Champion People
Forward initiatives by managing welcome packages, training, and stakeholder engagement. Partner with payroll and technical teams to resolve complex issues, implement process improvements, and elevate system needs. You will be part of our larger Payroll Services team, reporting to the Senior Manager, Payroll Services.
You will work alongside other Payroll Analysts and Payroll Associates, supporting FCL, local Co‑ops, and employees across the Co‑operative Retailing System. This team strives to cultivate a culture of collaboration, community, and support.
We help local Co‑ops grow and thrive by offering a range of professional services, including marketing, market research, information technology, human resources, accounting, risk management and business development.
Have 6+ years of relevant experience in payroll processing and/or customer support on payroll systems. Have a bachelor’s degree with a major in accounting (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered) Are familiar with UKG and Oracle.
