Become a key player in youth development with Pinecrest-Queensway Community Health Centre as a Program Facilitator. Focus on tutoring, mentoring, and creating an inclusive environment for youth aged 13 to 18. This temporary full time role supports low-income youth and aims to foster their self-esteem and sense of belonging.
You will develop educational programming, facilitate operations for post-secondary preparation, and promote opportunities through various communication methods. Your work will directly contribute to the growth and empowerment of youth in the community. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement educational programs for youth
- Facilitate tutoring and mentoring initiatives
- Create promotional materials for program awareness
- Support recruitment of mentors and speakers
- Maintain communication with the Youth Programs team
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience
- 3–5 years of relevant youth experience
- Knowledge of diverse populations and education systems
- Computer skills and evening availability essential
- Fluency in English; additional languages an asset
