Hello! I’m Emily, and our family is looking for a reliable, organized and detail-oriented person to help us maintain our home in Ottawa. We are conveniently located close to public transit.

We are looking for approximately 12 hours per week on a regular, consistent schedule. We are adaptable in establishing days and hours that work for the right person, Monday to Friday between approximately 9:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

Main responsibilities include:

- Regular household cleaning, particularly bathrooms and kitchen
- Family laundry, including washing, drying, folding and putting clothes away
- Changing and washing bed linens as needed
- Light meal preparation (washing and cutting vegetables and preparing lettuce/produce for the fridge)
- Loading and unloading the dishwasher and wiping down the kitchen as time permits

This is a live-out position in a non-smoking, pet-free home,

with no childcare responsibilities.

We are looking for someone who is dependable, trustworthy, comfortable working independently and interested in a consistent, longer-term position with our family. Two references and a criminal record check are required.

Rate: $20/hour for approximately 12 hours per week.

If this sounds like a good fit, please send me a message telling me a little about yourself, your housekeeping experience and your availability. We look forward to hearing from you!
