Maintain a robust database of approved products and analyze new product requests for expanded company offerings in alignment with strategic objectives.ResponsibilitiesReview investment and insurance products for approval to sell on WFG/TFA company platforms including fixed/variable life and annuity insurance products, segregated funds, mutual funds, money management, and retirement products.Perform initial intake, data collection, product analysis, and alignment with existing offerings of like products on the shelf.Prepare and present findings to the Products & Services Committee and other stakeholders.Direct product implementation process to set up approved products on appropriate platforms including but not limited to those used for marketing, compensation, data aggregation, and supervision.Maintain detailed competitive intelligence data to proactively ensure company product offerings are competitive and priced appropriately for the marketplace.Collaborate with Marketing, IT, Operations, and Supervision to ensure published product information is accurate and kept up to date for use by leadership and field professionals.Perform ongoing monitoring and prepare periodic reports of carriers to make sound business decisions and satisfy governance and regulatory reporting requirements. Coordinate life and annuity offerings from the same enterprise distinguishing between subsidiary life or annuity manufacturing entities they may offer.Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of available products to answer inquiries from staff and external parties. Assist in the training of supervisory staff on the nuance of the products and any complexities.



Assist the leader of supervision in configuration of supervision and surveillance business intelligence for oversight.Create reports (e.G., product comparison, market share, competitive intelligence, etc.).QualificationsTwo years experience in the insurance/financial services industryLife license for insurance product analysisInvestment Funds license for securities product analysisThorough understanding of individual term and permanent insurance products and the distribution life cycle (from application to issuance and in-force servicing)Practical understanding of variable and traditional annuity products and their various features and benefitsFor securities products – experience evaluating asset management offerings, advisory programs and investment company productsKnowledge of product implementation processes for insurance and for broker‑dealer or RIAExperience supporting product due diligenceAnalytical and research skillsTechnical aptitudeStrong attention to detailExcellent communication and customer‑focused service skillsPreferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree in a business fieldExperience in product due diligencePresentation and/or sales training experienceSalaryThe salary for this position generally ranges between $100,000 - $115,000 CAD annually. This range is a good faith estimate and actual starting pay is determined by qualifications, experience, geography, work location designation (in‑office, hybrid, remote) and operational needs.
