We are seeking a Senior Property Underwriter to join our team. This is a senior individual contributor role with full binding authority, focused on underwriting complex and non-standard property risks, including farm and residential. This role is well suited to an experienced underwriter who is already operating at, or ready to step into, a senior-level role. You will work with a high degree of independence, applying strong judgment to complex risks while contributing to underwriting quality and consistency across the team.Key ResponsibilitiesIndependently underwrite complex and non-standard property risksExercise full binding authority, including exceptions and specialty risksAct as a technical resource on complex files and coverage interpretationEnsure accuracy, compliance, and effective communication with Agents and BrokersManage facultative placements and contribute to underwriting quality and continuous improvementExperience & Skills RequiredPost‑secondary education (degree, diploma, or certificate) or equivalent experienceProfessional insurance designation (CIP, FCIP)
