As part of Lactalis Group, the world’s leading dairy company, we remain focused on innovation and quality and are seeking like‑minded individuals to join us as we continue our growth journey.About the opportunityThe Manager, Sales Strategy is responsible for managing and continuously improving the sales strategy execution cadence, analytics, and tools that support commercial performance and sustainable growth objectives. Through customer segmentation, portfolio mix analysis, and pricing/forecasting analytics, the incumbent partners with cross‑functional stakeholders to translate market insights into recommendations, guidance, and decision support for Sales leadership. The role requires a strong understanding of ingredient markets, customer business objectives, financial drivers, and domestic and global dairy policy.Critical Success Factors1. Manages pricing roadmap and execution, maintaining and improving pricing models/tools. Converts market, customer, and cost inputs into pricing analysis and recommendations that drive profitable revenue and cashflow growth across core, innovation, domestic/international BD, and capex launches.2. Builds sales team capability on market programs, policies, and economics through structured training and knowledge‑sharing. Supports customer price discussions with strong negotiation mindset to strengthen value selling and pricing power.3. Consolidates and reviews volume and net sales forecasts, identifying risks, variances, and data issues; escalates with recommended corrective actions. Contributes to budget, long-range planning, innovation, and capex evaluations by applying portfolio, competitive, pricing, and KPI insights to inform resource allocation.4. Leads execution of divisional market and Canadian Dairy Commission (CDC)



milk price changes to recover costs and ensure accurate, timely implementation. Integrates special programs/policies and prepares impact analysis and execution summaries for Management Control and leadership review.5. Coordinates annual/multi-year RFQs and ad-hoc customer pricing, partnering with Sales leadership to translate requirements into pricing proposals. Manages pricing decision analysis for new/existing customers and products, validating margin assumptions with Management Control to align to pricing strategy.6. Leads maintenance and use of profit maximization models and market tracking to support pricing, allocation, and investment discussions. Connects results to divisional KPIs and key levers (raw materials, yields/valorization, export programs, capex), escalating recommendations to leadership as required.7. Supports IBP forums by advancing commercial analytics, process improvement, and reporting using SAP/BW and Microsoft 365 (incl. Copilot). Partners with Sales, Trade, BD, Supply Chain, and Finance to translate portfolio priorities, risks, and growth opportunities into actionable insights.8. Acts as strategic pricing partner for defined customer clusters (e.G., distributors, multicultural and dairy manufacturers), delivering analysis, market insight, and commercial recommendations. Supports select accounts’ day-to-day needs with Sales Managers/Director and brings proactive growth ideas to senior leadership.9. Travels to domestic and international trade events to maintain current knowledge of dairy/ingredients markets, food industry trends, and relevant policies/programs.The attributes we are looking forUniversity degree or college diploma in Economics/Finance/Business related roleMinimum three 3-5 years’ experience in sales and sales analysis role.Experience in dairy/ingredients, regulated commodities, or B2B pricing environments preferred.Strong analytical, numerical,
