Duration: 6-Month Contract, with strong potential for extension

Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Senior IT Project Manager for a high-profile, 6-month enterprise contract within apublic-sector/higher-education environment.

In this role, you will take ownership of multiple concurrentinitiatives focused on improving enterprise cybersecurity and infrastructureoperational maturity. Working alongside senior cybersecurity leadership and PMOgovernance teams, you will guide critical workstreams including DisasterRecovery, Business Continuity Planning tabletop exercises, VulnerabilityManagement, and upcoming RFP/discovery activities from planning throughdelivery.

You will have dedicated support from an OrganizationalChange Management resource, allowing you to focus on project governance, vendordelivery, milestone tracking, financial management, risk management, andstakeholder alignment.

Target Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities

- Program& Project Governance: Lead coordination, milestone tracking, riskmitigation, and end-to-end delivery of concurrent IT initiatives acrossinfrastructure and cybersecurity.

- CoreInitiatives Delivery: Drive key program activities involving DisasterRecovery, BCP simulation/tabletop exercises, Vulnerability Managementworkflows, and upcoming technology discovery and RFP processes.

- Stakeholder& Vendor Alignment: Work with Cyber Operations,



EnterpriseArchitecture, Supply Chain, executive sponsors, and vendors to alignproject scope, technical requirements, procurement needs, and deliveryexpectations.

- PMOArtifacts & Reporting: Develop and maintain project charters,integrated delivery schedules, risk/issue/dependency logs, statusdashboards, and financial forecasting/reconciliation reports.

- Risk& Compliance Coordination: Facilitate technical gate reviews,solution delivery documentation, and Privacy/Security Impact Assessments.

- Cross-FunctionalTeam Collaboration: Partner closely with an Organizational ChangeManagement specialist to support operational readiness, user training, andseamless adoption across business units.

Mandatory Requirements

- PMPCertification: Active Project Management Professional certification ingood standing.

- Experience: Minimum 10+ years of formal IT Project Management experience managing complex, concurrent initiatives across the complete projectlifecycle.

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems(MIS), Business Administration, or a related discipline.

- On-SiteAvailability: Must be locally based in the Calgary area and availableto work in office three days per week: Tuesday, Wednesday,



and Thursday.

- Financial& PMO Acumen: Demonstrated hands-on experience managing projectbudgets, forecasting, vendor RFPs, and formal PMO governance frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications & Assets

- Provenexperience managing IT Infrastructure, Disaster Recovery, BusinessContinuity Planning, or Cybersecurity/Identity implementations.

- Priorexperience delivering projects within post-secondary education, publicsector, or heavily regulated enterprise environments.

- Experiencemanaging enterprise technology procurement, discovery activities, andcompetitive RFP evaluations.

- ITILFoundation or related service management certification.
