As a Homemaker reporting to the Site Manager, your responsibilities include cleaning resident rooms and communal areas. You will support adults with low income, ensuring their environments are well-maintained. Your shifts can vary, including days, evenings, and weekends, accommodating a flexible work schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
• Clean and organize resident rooms and common areas
• Change and make beds; manage laundry
• Oversee donations and direct volunteers
• Assist clients with personal hygiene and nutrition
• Comply with health and safety programs
Requirements:
• Minimum Grade 12 education and 1 year related experience
• Current Occupational First Aid Level 1 Certificate
• Crisis Intervention Skills Training an asset
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Must pass criminal record check for vulnerable sector
Support vulnerable adults through maintaining a clean and respectful setting at Lookout Housing.
