As an Early Childhood Educator at Capilano University's Fulmer Family Children’s Centre, you will collaborate with other educators to ensure the well-being and development of young children. Your expertise in the BC Early Learning Framework will support ethical practice while respecting the diverse backgrounds of families in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Organize and deliver programs at the Centre
• Create a rich learning environment for children
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized space
• Incorporate Indigenous knowledge into curricula
• Mentor practicum students during their observations
Requirements:
• Diploma in Early Childhood Education
• One year of relevant childcare experience
• Current ECE Certification with First-Aid
• Explicit criminal record check requirement
• Knowledge of trauma-informed practices
