Our client, Accounting/Finance is seeking a Advising and Reporting Analyst to join their team. As a Advising and Reporting Analyst, you will be part of the Finance organization supporting the General Accounting & Affiliates team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical thinking, clear communication for technical and non-technical stakeholders, and a drive to deliver accurate financial reporting under tight deadlines—skills that will help you make an immediate impact.

What's the Job?

Perform complex accounting and accounting research analysis for the EGI finance group to support accurate external financial filings and management reporting. Prepare reporting schedules that support quarterly and annual external financial filings and the management reporting process for the General Accounting & Affiliates team. Lead in identifying, resolving, and escalating potential accounting issues to ensure timely resolution and accurate financial information. Assist with contract review prior to execution by assessing accounting implications and supporting sound accounting decisions. Support month/quarter end close activities as needed, while maintaining controls and processes to achieve SOX compliance.

What's Needed?

University degree in a business or accounting program. Professional accounting designation (CPA) with 4+ years of directly related experience. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail, including the ability to synthesize complex accounting issues and explain impacts to management. Proven oral and written communication skills with the ability to present to senior management and collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.



Working knowledge of US GAAP and the integrity to maintain controls and processes, including the willingness to work under pressure and some overtime to meet tight deadlines.
