Pacific Blue Mechanical is a growing plumbing, heating and mechanical service company serving commercial, strata and residential properties throughout the Lower Mainland.We are looking for an experienced Red Seal Service Plumbing Foreman to join our team and take a senior role within our service department.This position is intended for an experienced service professional who is comfortable leading technicians, troubleshooting complex plumbing and heating systems, communicating with property managers and building representatives, and overseeing jobs from initial diagnosis through completion.ResponsibilitiesAs a Service Plumbing Foreman, your responsibilities will include:Lead and support journeyperson plumbers and apprentices in the fieldProvide technical assistance on complex service callsDiagnose plumbing, heating, hydronic and mechanical system issuesTroubleshoot boilers, domestic hot water systems and associated controlsService and troubleshoot pumps, circulators, expansion tanks, PRVs, mixing valves and related mechanical equipmentDiagnose hydronic heating and circulation issuesTroubleshoot gas-fired heating equipmentPerform and oversee commercial and strata plumbing repairsReview job scopes and determine appropriate repair methodsAssist with estimating labour, materials and equipment requirementsCoordinate materials and equipment for larger service jobsReview technician findings and provide direction when additional work is requiredEnsure work complies with applicable plumbing,



gas and building codesPerform quality-control inspections when requiredTrain and mentor apprentices and developing techniciansHelp reduce callbacks through proper diagnosis and workmanshipCommunicate professionally with strata managers, building managers, owners and other contractorsComplete explicit service documentation, job notes and recommendationsAssist management with scheduling and planning larger or technically challenging jobsParticipate in emergency service when requiredQualificationsRequired:Red Seal Plumber certificationStrong commercial and/or strata service backgroundStrong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilityExperience with mechanical rooms and building plumbing systemsPrevious experience supervising or leading plumbers/apprenticesValid BC driver’s licenceProfessional communication and customer-service skillsAbility to work independently and make sound field decisionsStrongly Preferred:Strong boiler service and troubleshooting experienceHydronic heating experienceDomestic hot water plant experienceExperience with pumps, controls, mixing valves and circulation systemsExperience working in high-rise residential and commercial buildingsBackflow certificationExperience reading mechanical drawings and specificationsExperience preparing scopes,
