FWS Group of Companies, a leader in design and engineering, is looking for an experienced General Counsel. Reporting to the President & CEO, you will guide legal strategy and risk management while supporting both Canadian and U.S. operations. Your role will focus on cultivating strong relationships within the organization and providing practical solutions that align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities: • Advise President & CEO and senior management on legal matters • Draft and negotiate construction contracts and commercial agreements • Oversee litigation, claims,



and dispute resolution processes • Manage corporate governance and strategic transactions • Mentor junior Legal Counsel and manage external legal resources

Requirements: • Law degree with current membership in Manitoba or Alberta • 10+ years of corporate and commercial legal experience • Solid background in construction law preferred • Proven ability to advise on governance and risk matters • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
