Fanatics Betting and Gaming is headquartered in New York with offices in Denver, Leeds and Dublin.OverviewFanatics is seeking a motivated, team-oriented jurisdiction compliance analyst, based in Canada. The Jurisdiction Compliance Analyst will aid in the development, implementation,



and ongoing enhancement of our regulatory legal and compliance framework as we expand operations into Canada in addition to supporting the broader Fanatics Betting & Gaming business. The Jurisdiction Compliance Analyst will report to the Senior Manager, State Compliance within the Regulatory Affairs team. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across the business, including Legal, Product, Payments, Operations, and Responsible Gaming teams.ResponsibilitiesBecome a compliance subject matter expert in multiple jurisdictionsTrack regulatory requirements and work with internal business teams to satisfy those requirementsAssist business teams in developing procedures and processes to satisfy regulatory obligationsMaintain and revise, as needed, the Company’s regulatory internal controlsBuild and maintain relationships with gaming regulators in multiple jurisdictionsAssist with licensing, registration, and regulatory examination activities with applicable gaming authorities and regulatorsMonitor regulatory developments across jurisdictions and elevate relevant changes to stakeholdersSupport the preparation and maintenance of regulatory reporting obligations and compliance documentationIdentify opportunities to improve operational workflows and reduce compliance riskEffectively manage multiple projects with clear and consistent communicationSupport cross-functional teams during new product launches and market expansion initiativesProvide ongoing regulatory support and guidance across the businessExperience And Skills2-4+ years of compliance, legal, or regulatory operations experience,



preferably in the online gaming industry or other highly regulated industryFamiliarity with international regulatory frameworks, including Ontario and Alberta gaming requirements, preferredAbility to exercise sound judgment, act independently, and become a subject matter expert on regulatory and legal requirements are of critical importanceA team player willing to roll up their sleeves and work to build the leading digital gaming company in the marketStrong analytical and drafting skillsExperience communicating with senior management and government authoritiesSelf-starter that enjoys a startup atmosphereExcellent written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts effectively to both internal and external stakeholdersStrong organizational, analytical, and documentation skillsStrong collaborator who works effectively both independently and cross-functionallyCurious and fast learner, not afraid to dive into complex regulatory and operational challengesDepending on the role, your interview and onboarding experience may include in-person components, such as onsite interviews or Launching into Better: LIVE—a multi-day cultural immersion in New York City for full-time, non-seasonal hires.
