You're here to build what's next(Internal Title: Scheduling IV)Reporting into the Planning & Schedule Management Lead for the GO Expansion Program the role forms part of the Integrated Program Delivery Team (IPDT)The role is responsible for delivering and where possible exceeding the clients expectations across the following areas of responsibility within a large multidisciplinary program delivery teamManaging IPD Best Practices to be incorporated in Management of ContractsEngage all key Stakeholders on Contract Transformation under the PDP / IPDT ModelManaging IPD Practices that are part of Procedures Processes and Training in the management of ContractsManaging the change in model and structure related to Planning and Schedule Management among the PDP Commercial Team and Vendor CommunitySupport the review to existing Planning & Schedule processes and procedures and update based on IPDT Model Best Practices Ensure updated processes align across GOE Program and achieve Best for Program decision makingSupport the development and implementation Program-wide project requirements that the projects must comply with for Planning & Scheduling to improve consistency and support the Program delivery approach including aligning and enhancing the current Project ProceduresSupport the development and deployment a Program Contingency Management ProcessManage Planning & Schedule Management IPDT Procedures systems and toolsets for the Program Management of contracts across the GO Expansion ProgramSupport a Program-wide view of Planning & Schedule considerations assure consistency of approachSupport projects and their supply chains to deliver efficiently and effectively Take a Program approach to removing consistent causes of cost and schedule overrun Share best practice and lessons learned across the ProgramManage consistency of delivery approach - Standardizing Program and project procedures ensuring integration and compliance with statutory and Metrolinx requirementsManage and provide for “Best for Program” decision making by creating the capability of consistent and real time reporting linked to the Program Control Centre to establish decision making capability which is joined up knowledge led and aligned to Program level outcomes and objectivesSupport Program level risk management Identification and mitigation of risks/issues and optimization of opportunities across all aspects of the ProgramSupport stakeholder engagement at a Program level as required by the Stakeholder Management PlanProvides consistent management in the area of Planning & Schedule Management to program management stakeholders / colleagues that are dedicated to each of the program delivery unitsDemonstrated experience in contract administration and contract management of large capital programsPlanning & Schedule Management experience on large capital transit projectsWorking ConditionsOffice or Site-basedHERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:Minimum of 12 years of Planning and Scheduling experience in large projects or programsBachelor’s degree in a relevant fieldHolding recognized certifications including PMP, PMI-SP, or PSPOracle Primavera P6 certificate is considered an assetBONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:Strong understanding of prevailing Project Management and Scheduling methodsExtensive knowledge of tools and metrics needed to evaluate project performanceAdvanced skills in Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Power QueryCompetent in Navisworks, Synchro, Power BI and TILOSisan assetExpert understanding of multi-discipline engineering and construction projectsInclined tomaintainprofessional development to keep abreast of emerging technologies, methods, and best practicesAbility to arrange priorities and accelerate competing risks to meet deadlines with minimum input from leadershipKeen eye for detail and adept problem-solving abilitiesMust havedemonstratedexperience relaying and receiving information (written and verbal)Expert ability to work collaboratively and independently in a structured, disciplined, technology-driven environmentProven capacity to anticipate, identify, and minimize risksExpert ability to detect and capitalize on others' strengthsDemonstrated capability to supervise, delegate, and develop capacityEffectively leads multi-resource scheduling teamsAbility to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment by ensuring effective teamwork, promotion of innovation, and overall excellenceTact to perceive and ameliorate conflict and tensionCompensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
