Overview

Assist in the day-to-day activities of our multi-use facilities. We are looking for responsible individuals with the ability to work a variety of shifts at City Halloutdoor rink.

(Temporary Full Time for 6 Months)

Responsibilities

Work with minimum supervision in all phases of the operation of a Multi-Use Facility. Prioritize work and carry out duties as assigned.

Duties Include
Building/equipment maintenance, customer service and janitorial duties.
Ice making and maintenance - Operates equipment (e.g., ice resurfacer (e.g., Zamboni), edger, hand chopper) to maintain ice around boards.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education
Minimum Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.

Additional Requirements




Valid MTO "G" class driver's license in valuable standing.
Attend and successfully complete Emergency First-Aid training.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
Versatile to work varying shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.
Demonstrated communication/customer service skills.
Ability to keep accurate written records.
Ability to participate as an effective team member.
Attend mandatory staff training sessions and successfully pass the course requirements.
Reliable with a positive attitude and employment record.
