Pump Group is a growing casual, family-friendly dining concept known for excellent food, a welcoming atmosphere, and a strong team culture. We're looking for a Sous Chef who's ready to bring energy, consistency, and leadership to our kitchen.

The Role

We're seeking an experienced Sous Chef (2–5 years) to work alongside our Head Chef in running daily kitchen operations. You'll help lead the team, maintain food quality and consistency, and keep the kitchen running smoothly during service.

What You'll Do
Support the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations and service execution
Supervise, train, and motivate kitchen staff during prep and service
Ensure consistent food quality, portioning, and presentation standards
Manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships as needed
Enforce food safety, sanitation, and health code compliance
Assist with menu development, costing, and specials
Step in to cover stations and lead service in the Executive Chef's absence
Maintain a clean, organized,



and efficient kitchen environment

What You Bring
2–5 years of experience in a professional kitchen, including supervisory experience
Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety, and sanitation standards
Ability to lead and motivate a team in a quick-paced environment
Solid knife skills and understanding of cooking techniques across stations
Food Handler's or ServSafe certification (or willingness to obtain)
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
A positive, team-first attitude and strong work ethic

What We Offer
Competitive pay: $60,000–$75,000/year
