Job Summary

Apex Security is seeking skilled, reliable, and responsible Security Guards to protect people, property, and client assets.

Security

Guards are responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment while providing professional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent theft, vandalism, trespassing, and other security incidents.
Control access to buildings and restricted areas.
Conduct regular site inspections and security checks.
Monitor CCTV and alarm systems where required.
Respond appropriately to incidents, emergencies, and safety concerns.
Prepare accurate daily activity reports and incident reports.
Enforce site rules, policies, and procedures.
Provide professional and courteous customer service to clients, employees, and visitors.
Contact emergency services when required and follow established emergency procedures.
Maintain a professional appearance and remain alert while on duty.
Perform other security-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Valid Alberta Security Services and Investigators Act (SSIA) Security Worker Licence.




Protect & Proserve Certificate
Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
Ability to work flexible shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Previous security experience is an asset but not always required.

Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour
