Duties
Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently, adhering to all legal and safety guidelines
Offer expert advice to patients and healthcare professionals on medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions
Collaborate with medical teams to develop and review treatment plans, especially in acute care and pediatric settings
Monitor patient responses to medications, adjusting dosages as necessary to optimize therapeutic outcomes
Maintain comprehensive records of medication administration, patient interactions, and clinical notes
Educate patients on medication adherence, health management strategies, and preventive care measures




Ensure compliance with hospital policies, medical terminology standards, and pharmacy regulations at all times

Requirements
Valid pharmacist license in good standing with relevant regulatory authorities
Proven hospital experience with a focus on acute care environments
Experience working with pediatric patients and understanding of pediatric medication protocols
Strong knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration procedures
Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to diverse patient populations
Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams in high-pressure situations
