Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems
Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets quality standards
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering responsibilities
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas
Follow food safety and proper food-handling procedures
Recommend and upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales




Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently while providing personalized attention
Respond promptly and professionally to guests’ questions, special requests, and concerns
Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth and efficient restaurant operations

Qualifications
Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred
Basic understanding of the food and hospitality industry is an asset
Previous experience with POS systems is an asset
Solid time management and organizational skills
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive, and energetic attitude
Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation
Basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling
Ability to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
