18-Month Term Position with Potential for a Permanent Position

Are you an experienced quality skilled who enjoys being involved in daily operations and making a meaningful impact?

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Manager to lead food safety, product quality, and regulatory compliance within a fast-paced food-processing setting. Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will work closely with employees and department leaders to support high standards, strengthen quality programs, and maintain an audit-ready facility.

What You’ll Do
Lead and maintain food safety and quality programs.
Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, customer requirements, and company standards.
Monitor product quality, processing, packaging, labelling, and traceability.
Maintain accurate inspection, testing, and compliance records.
Coordinate internal audits and support external audits.
Investigate quality concerns and ensure corrective actions are completed.
Coach, train, and support quality team members.
Partner with production and other departments to improve processes and promote a strong food safety culture.

What You Bring
Experience in food production, quality assurance, food safety, or a related field.




Leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.
Knowledge of food safety programs, sanitation, audits, corrective actions, and recordkeeping.
Strong communication, organization, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
The confidence to provide direction while building positive working relationships.
Relevant education, training, or professional credentials are considered assets.
Experience in seafood processing or another regulated food-production environment is an asset.

Position Details
Term: 18 months, with the potential to become permanent
Reports to: Plant Manager
Compensation: Starting at $22.00 per hour, with the final wage based on relevant experience, education, training, and professional credentials
