Schedule: Monday–Sunday, approximately 5:00 AM–8:00 AM
Hours: 3 hours per day
About the Position
Northern Star Janitorial Services is looking for two reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Commercial Cleaners to provide daily cleaning services at sites in North Bay.
The successful candidates will work as a team to maintain the store in a clean, secure, and presentable condition.
Responsibilities
Clean and sanitize washrooms
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and auto-scrub floors
Clean entrances and high-traffic areas
Clean sales floor and receiving areas
Clean staff lunchroom/breakroom areas
Empty garbage and recycling
Dust and wipe surfaces as required
Replenish supplies as required
Complete assigned daily and periodic cleaning duties
Follow all cleaning procedures and safety requirements
Maintain a skilled and consistent standard of cleanliness
Requirements
Previous commercial cleaning experience is an asset
Reliable and punctual
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Good attention to detail
Physically able to perform cleaning duties, including standing, walking, bending and lifting
Must be able to work the early morning schedule
Must have reliable transportation to the location
Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned tasks within the scheduled time
