We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our team here at Central Chiropractic & Wellness.
With the right candidate, you will be the main physiotherapist, caseload is full.
The ideal candidate will play a vital role in helping patients recover from injuries (ICBC), surgeries, or illnesses by developing personalized treatment plans and providing expert care.
This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic clinical setting, contributing to improved patient outcomes across diverse populations, including pediatrics and acute care settings.
Responsibilities
Assess patients' physical conditions through detailed evaluations and medical history reviews
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at restoring mobility, strength, and function
Provide hands-on therapy sessions utilizing manual techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly
Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, home exercises, and health maintenance
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including Chiropractors, RMT's and Acupuncturist
Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments, progress notes, and clinical records in compliance with healthcare regulations (Jane app)
Stay updated with the latest physiotherapy practices and participate in ongoing career development
Experience
Experience working with patients of all ages
Strong background in patient care with excellent communication skills
Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy practice
Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
Certification or licensure as a licensed Physiotherapist is required
