We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Secretary to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support within a busy medical office, ensuring smooth daily operations. This role requires excellent communication skills, familiarity with electronic medical records, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

The Medical

Secretary will serve as the first point of contact for patients and healthcare providers, playing a vital role in maintaining a professional and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities
Greet patients and visitors professionally at the front desk, providing exceptional customer service
Manage appointment scheduling using electronic medical records systems
Handle incoming calls via multi-line phone systems, directing inquiries appropriately
Prepare and organize patient charts, reports, and other documentation
Assist with billing procedures, insurance claims, and follow-up correspondence
Support administrative tasks including data entry, filing, and office correspondence




Coordinate communication between patients and healthcare providers to ensure timely care

Experience
Prior experience as a Medical Secretary in a healthcare setting is highly desirable
Solid understanding of medical terminology and electronic medical records management
Demonstrated experience with front desk operations and multi-line phone systems
Proven administrative experience in a quick-paced office workplace
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly while providing outstanding customer service
