Overview

We are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a robust mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with various machinery and equipment. As a Millwright, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial machinery, ensuring optimal performance and safety in the workplace.

Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair industrial machinery and equipment.
Analyze mechanical problems and troubleshoot issues effectively.
Fabricate components as needed to ensure machinery operates smoothly.
Read and interpret schematics to understand machinery layout and functionality.
Collaborate with HVAC technicians to maintain environmental control systems.
Work alongside industrial electricians for electrical maintenance tasks.
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment.
Document maintenance activities and report any significant findings.

Skills




Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to analyze complex systems.
Familiarity with reading schematics and technical drawings.
Ability to perform industrial maintenance tasks efficiently.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to work effectively within a team workplace.
Machining experience on lathe and milling machine would be an asset.
